Art & Antique Salzburg

In the state rooms of the Salzburg Residenz, the fans and collectors of art are on fire. There, in the Great Festival Hall, the flames blaze around Brünnhilde, who was banished to the Valkyries’ Rock by her father Wotan.
ART&ANTIQUE and the Salzburg Easter Festival are once again the central cultural constants in easterly Salzburg this year. Accordingly, the two institutions are also linked in a spirit of partnership. In 2017, the revival of Herbert von Karajan’s “Valkyries” production will bring back memories of the festival’s beginnings 50 years ago.
