    Description

Josef Hoffmann designed some ground-breaking objects in the time around 1920 who should influence Desing and Art Deco in Europe. From this time also came shapes like this centrepiece or the famous smokers-service “M ga 4”. Brass was frequently used in the time after the First World War because of its polished golden appearance and many designs were executed in this material.

The mark “f” points to a cooperation with Philipp Häusler, a pupil of Josef Hoffmann. He was responsible for a number of designs in the fields of metal, lighting fixtures and ceramics.

The bowl is perfectly crafted, the beating works are lawless and artistic.
